Dr. Gilby
Dr. Gilby, originally from Edmond,
Oklahoma, was always drawn to the sunshine and
palm trees and moved to Florida
in 1988. She earned her Baccalaureate of Science in Zoology from the University of Florida in 1991. She went on to earn her
medical doctor in 1996 from the University of Florida College
of Medicine where she served as President of the UF chapter of the
American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Gilby completed her training at the University of South Florida, Department of Obstetrics
and Gynecology in 2000. During her training, she was involved with the
development of the Continuity Care Clinics at Genesis Health
Center and was chief
resident for 1999-2000. Dr. Gilby went immediately into private practice in
August of 2000 with Drs. Carlson, Benson and Icely.
She joined Tampa Bay Women’s Care in April of 2005.
Dr. Gilby holds a Florida
medical license and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. She is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetrics and
Gynecology and a member of the Pinellas County Medical Society, the Florida
Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Gilby served as Chairman
of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Petersburg General Hospital
for 2004.
Dr. Gilby and her husband reside in St. Petersburg with their two children,
Braden Connor and Julia Ricci Gilby.
Dr. Long
An Illinois native, Dr.
Long attended the University
of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Baccalaureate degree in biochemistry. She
went on to attend medical school at the University
of Illinois at Chicago where she graduated in the top 3% of
her class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Honor Society. Dr. Long completed
her internship and residency at the University
of South Florida which
provided extensive training in surgery, gynecology and high-risk obstetrics.
Dr. Long has been in private practice in Denver, Colorado
for the past six years. She was actively involved in teaching both medical
students and residents in Denver, and was a
junior instructor at the University
of Colorado. She
relocated to Florida
to be near her family, and to join her friend and colleague, Dr. Jennifer
Gilby.
Dr. Long is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecologists, and is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and
Gynecologists. She is also a member of the Florida Obstetrics and Gynecologic
Society, the Pinellas County Medical Association, and the St. Petersburg
Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Long and her husband reside in St. Petersburg. Her interests include
running, reading, and skiing (when possible). She is an active supporter of the
Humane Society and Planned Parenthood.
Dr. Diner
Dr. Diner grew up in a military family, living in many
exciting places such as Stuttgart,
Germany where
she attended elementary school. Her family finally settled in northern Virginia, outside Washington,
DC where Dr. Diner completed high
school. She attended the University
of Virginia where she
earned a B.S. in biology in 1995.
Dr. Diner made the adventurous move to New Orleans for medical school, from where
she received her M.D. in 2000 from Tulane University School of Medicine. As
fate would have it, she returned to Washington,
DC for her obstetrics and gynecological
training at The Washington Hospital Center. During her training, Dr. Diner
concentrated on laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She
remained in Washington, DC for two years serving as teaching faculty
at both The Washington Hospital Center and inner city Unity Health Clinic
system.
Dr. Diner and her husband, an urologist and a native of Pinellas County,
moved to St. Petersburg
in late 2006. She joined Drs. Gilby and Long in July 2007 following the birth of
her first child, Jacob.
Dr. Diner is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics
and Gynecologists and is pending Fellowship of American College of Obstetrics
and Gynecologists. She is member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic
Surgeons.
Donna Wilkinson, ARNP
Donna, a Pennsylvania
native, obtained her ARNP from the University
of Pennsylvania and
Planned Parenthood Program in 1980 and RNC certification in 1981 from the
Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Donna has
practiced in a variety of settings, one of which has been to establish the
Primary Care Clinic for Progressive Insurance at their Tampa Call Center. Her love for women’s health care
brought her to join Tampa Bay Women’s Care in May, 2006.
Donna and her husband reside in St. Petersburg with their two children,
Olivia and Garrett.
